Just in time for Fireworks.  The Goverment announced today that on July 4th, the crown will be re-opened at the Statue of Liberty.

The Crown has been closed since 9/11.

Visitors who wish to see the view of the harbor from the crown will have to walk up the 168 spiral staircase.

In the past, people have suffered from sickness and injuries will climbing up.  To help avoid this, only group of 10 will be allowed up at a time.

Little Fact – If you look up the inside of the Statue of Liberty, you will see a mini Effel Tower.  The same man who designed the Effel Tower helped to design Lady Liberty.
